Mosaic Montage Pillows
The Details
Mosaic Montage originated as a hand-dyed fabric. The techniques used incorporate multiple layers of dyeing and overdyeing to create a vast palette of hues. Once rinsed and dried, the dyed fabric was then coated in a thin layer of potato starch paste. As the paste hardens, the starch expands and creates thin cracks along the surface of the textile. A thickened dye formula is then painted on top of the starch and absorbed into the fabric along the exposed cracks. The result is a detailed crackle impression and a kaleidoscope of neighboring colors. Finally, the fabric is scanned and digitally manipulated to create a seamless, organically arranged repeat.

Some products within our shop are readily available, but most are made to order. For orders received that include multiple items of varying turnaround times, the longest timing will be applied, and all items will ship together. Orders are shipped ground via UPS or USPS. Refunds or exchanges for *MOST items are honored for 14 days. Item(s) must be in their original condition. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
